The following are facts about mmo's which a lot of people might have exaggerated about,

MMO male and female ratio:
This has been exaggerated a lot as most people tend to say that nearly all MMO players are all male or that most female players are male. Although actually the percentage of male mmo players is at around 60% therefore leaving 40% female players


MMO playing alone and groups:

• 59% of females and 56.5% of males preffer to play mmo's in a group.
• 20% of females and 24% of males play by themselves due to not being able to play with others e.g. work, school.
• 14.4% of females and 13.9% of males don't care if they play solo or in a group.
• and only 6.6% of females and 5.3% of males actually prefer to play alone.

MMO Couples:
around 36% of mmo players are either engaged or married

Average MMO player:

• The average age of an MMO player is in around mid 20's
• 25% of which are teenagers
• 36% are married
• and 22% have children
• 50% work full time
